THE MOVEMENT

How to perform

  1. Place the balls of the feet on the platform or floor with the heels free to move.
  2. Keep the body stable and lower the heels into a comfortable stretch.
  3. Rise onto the balls of the feet by lifting the heels as high as you can control.
  4. Pause briefly at the top, then lower slowly.

IRONYOU / CORE

Core cues

  • Use a full, comfortable stretch at the bottom and rise onto the ball of the foot.
  • Keep the knee position consistent for the chosen variation.
  • Pause briefly at the top instead of bouncing through the rep.

STAY SHARP

Common mistakes

  • Bouncing out of the bottom using the Achilles tendon.
  • Rolling onto the outside or inside of the foot.
  • Using a short range just to move more load.
