THE MOVEMENT
How to perform
Set the cable high and take the rope, bar or single handle with the elbows close to the torso.
Brace the body and start with the forearms raised while the upper arms stay mostly still.
Extend the elbows until the arms are straight and the triceps are fully shortened.
Return under control without letting the elbows drift forward.
IRONYOU / CORE
Core cues
Keep the elbows close to the torso and let the forearms do most of the moving.
Finish the rep by extending the elbows without rolling the shoulders forward.
Control the return so the cable does not pull the elbows out of position.
STAY SHARP
Common mistakes
Letting the elbows drift forward and back on every rep.
Leaning over the handle to use bodyweight.
Stopping short of a controlled lockout.
