BODYWEIGHT TRACKING

What Is IronYou Body Progress?

IronYou Body Progress is a bodyweight tracking feature within the IronYou fitness application.

It lets you record your weight, review previous measurements and follow how your bodyweight changes over time.

You can also choose whether your goal is to lose weight, gain weight or maintain your current weight.

For qualifying weight-loss and weight-gain goals, IronYou can show progress toward an optional target weight.

Body Progress keeps your weight history within the same application you use to track your workouts.

MEASUREMENTS

Your Weight History, All in One Place.

Understanding bodyweight changes starts with keeping a record.

IronYou lets you log your bodyweight and review previous measurements instead of relying on memory.

Choose your preferred weight unit, enter your measurement and build a history you can return to.

Over time, those records help you understand how your weight has changed.

IronYou supports kilograms and pounds for weight entry and display.

YOUR RECORD / KG OR LB

IronYou recorded weight trend and dated recent weigh-ins
A history you can return to.

One measurement at a time.

Log a measurement when you choose, then review it alongside your previous entries.

Measurements are entered by you. Historical entries cannot currently be edited or deleted.

RECORDED WEIGHT

Look Beyond Daily Weight Fluctuations.

Bodyweight doesn't always move in a straight line.

Your weight might be higher one day and lower the next, even when your longer-term direction hasn't changed.

IronYou's weight history graph plots your recorded measurements over time, making it easier to review the overall trend instead of focusing on a single weigh-in.

When measurements are available, the integrated Progress view averages the recorded entries in a seven-day window; it doesn't interpolate missing days.

That additional context can help you understand the direction of your recorded weight history.

ILLUSTRATIVE MEASUREMENTS

MONDAY83.0 kg
TUESDAY83.5 kg
WEDNESDAY82.9 kg

Three different measurements don't necessarily tell you the direction of your longer-term progress. A recorded history and a broader trend provide more context.

Illustrative measurements. Daily bodyweight changes can occur for many reasons and should not be interpreted as changes in body fat alone.

The trend chart needs at least two recorded measurements. The seven-day average is shown in the integrated Progress view, not as a metric card on the standalone Body Progress screen.

COMPARISON PERIODS

Understand How Your Weight Is Changing.

Sometimes, a single number isn't enough to understand your progress.

IronYou can show changes in recorded bodyweight over shorter and longer comparison periods.

Available seven-day and thirty-day change metrics help you put recent measurements into a broader context.

When there isn't enough recorded information for a meaningful comparison, the corresponding metric may be unavailable.

IronYou's change metrics compare measurements grouped into seven-day periods. They are not simply the difference between two individual weigh-ins.

PERSONAL GOALS

Lose, Gain or Maintain. Your Goal, Your Progress.

Bodyweight progress means different things to different people.

You might want to lose weight, gain weight or maintain your current weight while training.

IronYou lets you choose the direction that fits your personal goal.

You can also set an optional target bodyweight and update or clear your goal as your priorities change.

Your goal stays connected to your recorded measurements, helping you review your progress over time.

LOSE WEIGHTTrack your measurements while working toward a lower target bodyweight.
GAIN WEIGHTFollow your bodyweight history while working toward a higher target.
MAINTAIN WEIGHTKeep track of your measurements while aiming to maintain your current bodyweight.

Maintain goals do not show a percentage completion value. IronYou does not automatically recommend how quickly to gain or lose weight.

TARGET PROGRESS

See How Far You've Come.

A target weight can give your bodyweight tracking a clearer direction.

For supported weight-loss and weight-gain goals, IronYou can calculate progress from the starting weight toward the selected target.

As you record new measurements, you can review how far you've moved through that target range.

The percentage describes progress toward the selected number. It does not predict when you'll reach your goal.

ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE

Progress toward a target

Starting weight
85 kg
Target weight
80 kg
Current weight
83 kg
Progress toward target
40%

The recorded weight has moved 2 kg toward a 5 kg target change. That represents 40% of the selected target range.

Illustrative weight-goal example. Actual goal progress depends on the recorded starting weight, current weight and selected target.

Goal percentages are available only for qualifying lose/gain goals when the required measurements are present. Progress is bounded between 0% and 100%.

BODY AND TRAINING

Your Bodyweight and Training Belong Together.

Your bodyweight is one part of your fitness journey.

The weights you lift, the repetitions you complete and the workouts you record tell another part of the story.

IronYou brings bodyweight tracking and workout tracking into the same fitness application.

That means you can keep a record of changes in your bodyweight while continuing to track your gym performance.

Your bodyweight history and workout history serve different purposes, but both can provide useful context for your training.

Workouts can use available bodyweight information as context, but completing a workout does not automatically create a weigh-in.
